Yeeee-haa!

On Tuesday mom and Claire went up to Oly to go shopping; they came back with some awesome shoes, for example, mom got an adorable pair of boots for 40% off of the already-marked-40% price. When they came home buried in bags and hollering about the great prices at Macys Melina and I, refusing to be outdone, looked at each other and said, "Tomorrow."
So, Wednesday found Nina and I in Olympia and I found the CUTEST boots! I love them so much! I don't think I've felt this way about a pair of shoes since I bought my blue wedges. I like to think of them as my inner cowgirl coming out.

Nina found some beautiful purply-ish boots, too. She said yesterday (Thursday), "Man, I feel like Peter Pan in these things. Avast! Hoidy-doi!" Er, something like that!

Some sweet and tender thoughts. Ha!

YES!! I'm the last person to do this...right? :)

Rachel: I love how you look at dancing when you are wearing your skinny jeans and converse and those big, elegant earings and you flip your bangs back! You look like a movie star.

Kynsie: Possibly the person i am most jealous of for naturally looking French. dang.

Dana: Okay, he's practically my brother...except we have different parents...

Spud: such an imagination! (i mean, come on, he probably thought this thing up just to get all these cute girls to say nice things about him! hehe. ouch.)

timothy: Great at being a cool nerd. :)

Hannah: Really, very...spunky! 2nd place winner of being the person I was most afraid of after meeting.

Sarah: Haha! the person I was most terrified by after meeting! But she's actually really neat and her hair is always (grrrrr) perfect.

Brett: I don't really know you very well, but every time I'm around you you say something REALLY funny!

Piper: definitely the sweetest person I've met. (she's my role model)

Little brother, Spuddy

Most of you know my brother Wyatt. When he was a baby he was my worst enemy (kicked me out of "the baby of the family" spot!) when we were a little older and he had no idea what it meant to hang out with cool people he was my best friend, now that he's the best soccer stud on the Harbor (and probably the best looking) well, we're still friends, secretly. I really think his soccer cleats are awesome and sometimes, if I make him a latte, he will let me hold one. Wow. All around he's pretty neat, and someday he's going to be a dreads-wearin' lead guitarist for the next Toto and I'll get to hold both of his cleats behind the stage while he gives out autographs to Jennifer Lopez and Beyonce. He's that cool.

I'm sorry you have no fashion sense, Spud, but at least you have me, right?

Amazing book!

I just had to take a second and write about this book I just finished. It's actually an incredibly long poem called Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. It was really good and I thought it had an interesting message. I'm not going to tell you what it is though...you have to read it!

God is so great!

Yesterday, Friday, I was having one of those "life sucks" kind of days but then, while doing the dishes, I realized: hey, you live in a completely free country, you have a great family, and God is alive and loves you and you need to knock it off! And it's true! I do have freedom and a great family and my Father God is so amazing! He is all powerful, all knowing, loving, forgiving-hallelujah!-and he wants us to love him. I suppose I could at least be grateful for the great stuff he's given me and stop having a bad attitude. Thank you, God!

Needles

I am not a woosy about blood and needles and that kind of stuff, buuuuut, I kind of have a problem with people giving me a shot. Well, on Monday I sucked it up and went to get my blood drawn. I was really nervous and couldn't watch her do it, now I'm really sad I didn't watch because it didn't hurt at all ( actually, it felt good) and I'm really curious what it looks like. (I'm not one of those weird people who like blood and guts but it's so interesting!) Hey, does anybody know how much they pay you to donate blood? :)
